The following terms and conditions apply to passengers booking with Faro Airport Shuttle www.faroairportshuttle.com
General
Where two or more people are included on the same booking, or a booking is being made on behalf of a third party, the person purchasing the booking (the Client) shall be deemed to be acting as an agent for all members of the party traveling (the Passenger/s), and accepts the Faro Airport Shuttle Terms and Conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
Where a booking is made by telephone or email, the booking is subject to and the client accepts the Faro Airport Shuttle Terms and Conditions.
Bookings
Bookings/request for service can be made by telephone, email or through the Faro Airport Shuttle online booking facility: Instant Quote Device.
Transfers quoted are net rates. Any diversions need to sanctioned prior to travel as will impact on the cost real of your journey, additional set downs or pick ups by the client will incur a extra charge.
Prices for the service will be published on the website Faro Airport Shuttle or other prices agreed in writing at the time of confirmation of booking. The prices are subject to change without notice. However, prices agreed and confirmed by the service provider and the customer will be held.
Faro Airport Shuttle will not be responsible for errors in information provided by the Client. All information sent by the Client will be returned to the Client for verification in a booking form and needs to be confirmed. If no confirmation is received from the Client the service may be cancelled.
Faro Airport Shuttle may subcontract work to other agencies from time to time.
Checking Your Arrival Flight
When you book with Faro Airport Shuttle and the pick up is from Faro Airport we will take your flight number and scheduled arrival time so that we are able to monitor your flight for any delays.
If your flight is cancelled in advance, we will not dispatch the driver and will wait for further instructions from you.
The driver will be waiting on the terminal concourse at the arrivals on the outside of the security zone with your name on a board. Expect to take 30 minutes to clear customs and immigration on arrival. We allow you 90 minutes waiting time for free from your arrival time. If you lost your baggage has failed to arrive on your flight please attempt to contact our office to advise accordingly if you are likely to exceed the 90 minute free waiting time so we can advise the waiting driver.
It is the client’s responsibility to make contact with us to advise of any delays during their journey if they expect to over run the 90 minute airport waiting time.
If after the 90 minute airport waiting time no contact with the client has been established the booking will be considered a 'no show'. The reservation will be cancelled and fully charged.
Payment Policy:
Payment is required at the time of booking or directly to the driver upon arrival. When you submit your reservation Faro Airport Shuttle will issue a Transfer Reservation pending confirmation and after confirm the payment status if Faro Airport Shuttle is able to provide the service a confirmation email (Transfer Voucher) will then be sent to the Client. If Faro Airport Shuttle is unable to provide the service a cancellation email will be sent to the Client. All payments made for a booking will be refunded if it is cancelled by Faro Airport Shuttle.
The Transfer Voucher is the ticket. This must be presented to the Faro Airport Shuttle Driver or Representative for both the outward and return trip. A Transfer Reservation Request is not a valid confirmation of a booking.
Payment to the driver of any balance will be handled at the time you are picked up at the time you are collected to embark on your journey.
Booking Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellations or Reschedules by customers made more than 1 day before the date of travel will not incur cancellation charges and will be confirmed by email. If no confirmation of cancellation has been received it is the responsibility of the Client to contact Faro Airport Shuttle via contact form on our website, by phone or email. Cancellations must be made more than 1 day in advance of the date of travel. In the event of a cancellation by the Client or Passenger, Faro Airport Shuttle, at its absolute discretion may refund the cost of the transfer (and any supplements paid) subject to administration fee and the card transaction fee. Faro Airport Shuttle maintains the right to cancel bookings at any time if it feels it will be unable to supply the service requested in a correct manner.
Booking Modification Policy:
Any changes to booking details must be made via www.faroairportshuttle.com website logging in the Client area: Booking Management or directly with Faro Airport Shuttle Booking Office by phone or website email form at least 24 hours prior to the date of outbound travel. All changes are subject to availability and may be subject to an administration charge. Any modifications are made at the discretion of Faro Airport Shuttle. If no confirmation of modification has been received it is the responsibility of the Client to contact Faro Airport Shuttle via contact form on our website, by phone or email.
Complaints Policy:
Any complaint or request for refund must be made via contact form on our website or email to
within one calendar month of the return date of travel.
Luggage Policy:
Passengers are limited to three items of luggage, such as two suitcases ( or one suitcase and a golf bag ) and a hand luggage or similar item, per person. Any baggage exceeding normal size or any passenger exceeding the number of baggage per passenger must be mentioned in the Special Requirements area of your reservation and may be subject to be charged a additional fee. Faro Airport Shuttle reserve the right to refuse baggage whose size, weight, character, or condition is unsuitable for transportation on the vehicle without harming or annoying passengers.
Vehicles
The make, model and type of vehicle used for Faro Airport Shuttle transfers may vary from those pictured on the Faro Airport Shuttle website.
All Faro Airport Shuttle vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under local law. However, whilst every care is always taken, a customer's property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Passengers are advised to check their own travel insurance.
Faro Airport Shuttle reserves the right to refuse transportation to any customer who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or whose behaviour is considered dangerous to the driver, the vehicle or the others customers safety. Customers must be suitably dressed, eg shirt and shoes required.
Passengers are not permitted to carry alcoholic beverages onto Faro Airport Shuttle vehicles for the purposes of consuming them therein.
Smoking is not permitted in Faro Airport Shuttle vehicles.
Child Seats - As per the EU directive 2003/20/EC the following applies:
Children must use the correct child seat until they are 135cm tall or age 12 (whichever they reach first). They then must wear an adult seatbelt. It is the driver`s responsibility to see that children are restrained correctly. However, there is an exemption for licensed vehicles, which can still carry children even if the correct child seat is not available. Faro Airport Shuttle will make every efforts to provide this equipment, when requested by the Client, not all of our ground operators have this equipment and in some countries standards differ and it is not compulsory to use. This service is not guaranteed and is on a request basis only.
Faro Airport Shuttle Provides Child seats and booster seats free of charge.
Pick up / Drop off Address
It is the responsibility of the Client to provide a full and valid drop-off/pick-up address within the destination/departure town selected for the transfer route at the time booking.
If your destination is a private address ie: a villa or apartment you must supply us with a complete address before your arrival, or alternatively the name and telephone number of the local Portuguese agent or person handling the booking in Portugal, so that we can contact them in advance to ascertain the exact location of the property, allowing us to transfer you to your holiday home as quickly as possible.
If the address provided is incomplete or does not correspond with the selected transfer route, Passengers will be dropped off or collected at the central Tourist Office or taxi rank of the selected destination/departure town.
Client Contact Phone
It is the responsibility of the Client to provide a full and valid mobile phone number for the Passenger(s), including the International Dialling Code. It is the responsibility of the Passenger to check for messages left on this contact number during the final 24 hours prior to their return journey. Resort to airport pick-up times can vary due to weather or high levels of traffic, etc. If it is not possible to supply a mobile contact number, it is the responsibility of the Client to provide a valid resort contact number. Any notification of changes to pick-up times will be notified by SMS text or by calling the contact number provided. If neither mobile contact number nor resort contact can be supplied, it is the responsibility of the Passenger(s) to contact their agent on the number provided on their Transfer Voucher to confirm their resort pick-up time. Failure to check for messages or to contact your Agent if no contact has been supplied may cause you to miss your resort pick-up, in which case no refund is available. If you have supplied full and valid contact number and have received no message, your pick-up will be as confirmed on your Transfer Voucher. This is applicable to all Faro Airport Shuttle services.
Shared Shuttle Transfers
With shared shuttle transfers there may be a maximum waiting time of 1 hour after your approach to our airport representative.
Shuttle Bus transfers operate from / to airports and resort advertised on the website. Shuttle busses are shared busses and it means the bus is shared with other people, as much as we try to serve door to door shuttle bus services in some case it may not be possible because of the road blockings, local festivals etc. in that case you will be dropped off in the nearest certain point to your destination. Shuttle Busses will operate door to door for the private villas / accommodation / flats as long as you can provide the full address details or if you accept to be dropped off by a certain point and picked up from the same point.
All Faro Airport Shuttle transfers are door-to-door, where road access allows. If a Passenger misses their Scheduled collection they will be offered space on the next available Scheduled Shared Transfer but no refund will be available.
At the time of booking a Scheduled Shared Transfer, the Client selects a specific airport departure time. These departure times are fixed, so, if the Passenger(s) is subject to delay, or misses their specified departure time the transfer will leave without them. In this instance Passenger(s) will be offered transport on the next available Scheduled Shared Transfer to their destination, however they will have missed their Scheduled Service and no refund will be available.
If a Passenger(s)'s flight has been cancelled and the Passenger(s) is now traveling at a later time, they will be offered transport on the next available Shared Transfer or Scheduled Shared Transfer to their destination. However, the Transfer booking is tied to the Scheduled Flight Times entered at the time of booking, if a flight is cancelled the Passenger(s) will be deemed to have lost their transfer and no refund will be available. On the day of transport if Faro Airport Shuttle fail for any reason within its control to deliver its passengers to the destination confirmed on their Transfer Voucher, Faro Airport Shuttle will provide suitable transport, such as another minibus, private car, taxi etc, to take them there. Any reimbursement made by Faro Airport Shuttle for the costs incurred by the passenger in taking alternative means of transport to get to their confirmed destination will be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by taxi. Reimbursement for costs incurred will only be paid upon presentation of valid receipts.
All collection times are given as an approximate guideline and are not always accurate due to the nature of shuttle transfers and the delays the can be encountered.
You will need to call the Faro Airport Shuttle office on the telephone number stated on your booking confirmation voucher during normal office hours at least 24 hours prior to your departure, allowing for weekend closures.
Private Transfers Flight Delays Policy
Faro Airport Shuttle holds a none delay charge policy for the flight delays. We do not dispatch a driver until we have a confirmed landing / arrival time as we monitor your flight number to ensure that it is running to schedule.
There is no extra charge for the first ONE HOUR waiting time after the flight has landed.
Intellectual Property Rights
The contents and design of www.Faro Airport Shuttle are protected by copyright law, being ECO - Networks, Co. the right holder or party duly authorized to use the copyright protected material of suppliers or collaborators. Therefore, any form of use of such content is prohibited unless expressly authorized by ECO - Networks, Co. by these terms and conditions or by individually granted authorization, depending on each case, as set below.
Please note that the copyright protected material referred to in the paragraph above also refers to any material emailed to you or otherwise supplied to you in conjunction with the website.
The software which operates this website is proprietary software and you may not use it except as expressly allowed under these terms and conditions by ECO - Networks, Co.. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify or otherwise deal with the software.
The company reserves the right to make use of sub contractors to provide the service to the passengers. These sub contractors will be able to provide an equal high quality of service as the Faro Airport Shuttle Company.
This policy is reviewed and renewed on an annual basis to ensure that it is appropriate for the requirements of our business.
